 Apparently Curtis doesn’t snitch on the elements. The May 2008 fire that took place at 50’s Long Island mansion is still under investigation and Mr. Jackson still hasn’t had a sit down with fire officials.
Although 50 isn’t considered a suspect in the suspicious fire despite his son’s mothers allegations, it is standard procedure to speak with all homeowners regarding fire investigations. Curtis has been visible in New York and the surrounding areas all summer, but investigators haven’t been able to catch up to him and his lawyers aren’t providing any cover and refuse to comment on the story.
The fire destroyed the mansion that was a source of contention in some bitter legal beefing between 50 and his son’s mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, whom 50 had previously tried to evict. Ten people were in the house at the time of the blaze including 50’s ten year old son; all escaped without injury but had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
At the time Tompkins accused Jackson of the blaze and promptly slapped him with a restraining order. There is no deadline for when the investigators have to chop it up with Curtis, but they are hoping to get it accomplished sooner rather than later.
